3v3 Tournaments are a great way for Recreational players to get the experience of tournament play without being on a Competitive League team. Challenge Sports hold tournaments throughout the year. 
 
2009 - 2010 AGE DIVISION BIRTH DATES
The age division of a team in the tournament, will be the age of the oldest player on the team's Roster.
                          U6 - (8/1/2003 thru 7/31/2004)
U13 - (8/1/1996 thru 7/31/1997) 
U7 - (8/1/2002 thru 7/31/2003)
U14 - (8/1/1995 thru 7/31/1996) 
 U8 - (8/1/2001 thru 7/31/2002)
U15 - (8/1/1994 thru 7/31/1995) 
 U9 - (8/1/2000 thru 7/31/2001)
                    U16 - (8/1/1993 thru 7/31/1994)
 U10 - (8/1/1999 thru 7/31/2000)
U17 -(8/1/1992 thru 7/31/1993)
 U11 - (8/1/1998 thru 7/31/1999)
U18 - (8/1/1991 thru 7/31/1992)
 U12 - (8/1/1997 thru 7/31/1998)

Being a part of a 3v3 requires commitment to the team and hard work. Please make sure that both parents and players understand what is expected of them. It is also about fun. Whether the team wins or loses; the lessons learned from one weekend tournament are remarkable.
 

IYSA does not cover any costs related to 3v3 tournaments.  Contact the registrar if you would like to order Indialantic Uniforms (at the team's expense), the club can provide a discount through our uniform vendor.

 

Teams are able to use the soccer fields for practice, but please make sure to register for the use of the fields.  There will be a Field Sign Up sheet made available on the website.

 

While IYSA supports the formation and playing of 3v3 teams with our Recreational players, all those involved must understand that Recreational Season play is first priority. Conflict between IYSA Club play and 3v3 tournament falls in favor of the Club…tournament rosters will not be signed by the IYSA Registrar unless there is no conflict with all players involved and their regular Recreational team.
 
If you would like to form a team to compete in these tournaments, please do the following:
 
  • Once players have been picked, make sure the players’ coaches are notified. Coaches cannot take a player from an already formed team.
  • Please provide a list of players along with the team name and age information to the registrar. 
  • Players must be registered with FYSA, if you are having a player guest play from another club…please make sure that the appropriate guest playing forms have been submitted to the Registrar. 
    • Both club registrars must sign…so please complete this task as soon as possible to avoid any delay or issues with the player participating.
    • Same rules apply for conflicts with club schedule and 3v3 tournament play with guest players. The player cannot choose the 3v3 tournament over scheduled club play.
 
  • Make sure that Medical waivers are completed by each player/player’s parent.
  • All coaches/assistant coaches must be registered with FYSA. Please complete a coach’s package and return it to the registrar as soon as possible.
 
  • Once you are aware that you are participating in a tournament, make sure to notify the Registrar. Rosters for each tournament that the team participates in must be created and signed by the registrar.
